2020 polo event has been canceled

Event to be Rescheduled in 2021

The Inaugural Polo 4 Heroes event in 2019 resulted in approximately 2,000 attendees coming together to not only enjoy polo but support our local wounded military and the surviving families of our fallen First Responders. Over $60,000 was raised to benefit our local heroes. The need to support our heroes has never been greater, as they continue to unselfishly work protecting

us on the front-line, in spite enduring new challenges and risks encountered during this pandemic.  For this we are grateful and appreciative.

With so many conflicting reports and concerns of Covid-19, and many experts stating the likelihood of a second wave this fall, we feel it necessary to postpone Polo 4 Heroes until we are assured it can be conducted in a safe environment for all. Unfortunately, the funds raised by this all volunteer organization, are still vital to our heroes that have sacrificed so much serving us. Although we know Polo 4 Heroes will eventually be rescheduled at a safer time, we hope you will

consider making a donation at this time to our wounded military and the surviving families of our fallen First Responders.  All donations received will be disbursed equally to the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire and the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes, both all volunteer run 501c3 nonprofit

Checks may be made payable to Polo 4 Heroes and mailed to 308 Farnsleigh Avenue, Bluffton, SC 29910. These are certainly challenging times for everyone, but please consider caring for those that care for us. No amount is too small. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and support.

We are considering some other fundraising ideas, and will be updating our website, wwww.Polo4Heroes.com as well as our Facebook page as they develop.

Best regards,

Joe Grimm

Polo for Charity Event, Rose Hill Equestrian Center

The Event

Charity Polo has been a Lowcountry tradition for over 20 years.  Formerly sponsored by the Rotary Club of Okatie-Bluffton the event is now jointly sponsored by the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes (LFWMH) and the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire. Both charitable organizations serving the Lowcountry community.  The 2020 polo event has been canceled due to the pandemic virus.  Our event will return in 2021.  The new date will be posted here once we know the schedule.  Meanwhile, be safe and see you next year!

A Simple Mission

We are focused on making a positive difference for heroes in the Lowcountry community.  All proceeds from the event will be benefiting injured members and their families -- military veterans, firefighters, law enforcement officers injured in the line of duty.
