Caring for those who care for us

The Ponies Return to Bluffton ...

October 27, 2019 @ The Rose Hill Equestrian Center

Aiming to benefit and support our local men and women in uniform, Polo 4 Heroes is a joint effort by the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire and the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes. Together, these volunteer organizations are hosting Polo 4 Heroes, an event centered around the backdrop of the Sport of Kings.

Join us for a fun afternoon of food, drinks, fashion, and more in a festive fun filled tailgating setting in the heart of the Lowcountry. Help us care for those that care for us.

Gates open at 12:30 with a Grand Opening Ceremony at 1:30 featuring the Special Operations Parachute Team, presentation of the flag by Honor Guards, singing of the National Anthem,  a Proclamation from the Governor, and more. The featured polo match will commence shortly after at 2:30 pm.

Polo 4 Heroes is a 100% volunteer effort. All of the net proceeds will benefit the 200 Club and the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes, and their mission to support the needs of our men and women in uniform.

Men and women in uniform.  Military, police, fire, and EMT, all serving unselfishly, putting their lives on the line every day. Defending our freedom, protecting us from harm, saving lives while risking their own.

We are here to help, and we’re not going anywhere.

Our Foundations have been supporting Lowcountry Service men and women, veterans, and their families for nearly 10 years. We are dedicated to help provide the special needs for many of these brave heroes and their families.

Polo for Charity Event, Rose Hill Equestrian Center

The Event

After sponsoring over 20 years of Charity Polo matches, the Rotary Club of Okatie- Bluffton is transitioning leadership of the event to the joint care of the Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes (LFWMH) and the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire. Both charitable organizations have agreed to host the next event scheduled for Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at the Rose Hill Equestrian Center.

New Name with a New Mission and Vision

Formerly known as  Polo for Charity,  the event has been renamed to  “Polo 4 Heroes”

A Simple Mission

We are focused on making a positive difference for heroes in the Lowcountry community.  All proceeds from the event will be benefiting injured members and their families -- military veterans, firefighters, law enforcement officers injured in the line of duty.
